Bay Area Video Coalition, San Francisco - $10,000
To support a new artist training institute called Frameworks, focusing on equipment access and training in high definition technologies.

BRAVA Theater Center, San Francisco - $10,000
To support development of a new musical theatre piece by Robert Alexander, titled Above C Level, which will draw parallels between the experiences of low income residents of San Francisco and New Orleans.

California College of the Arts/CCA, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the California Dreaming project featuring the work of approximately 25 Bay Area artists in an exhibition titled The Golden Gate, and through site-specific works within The California File public art component.

Chanticleer, San Francisco - $15,000
To support a new commissioned work by Chen Yi for the 30th anniversary season.

Creative Growth, Oakland - $15,000
To support a facility renovation project for this arts center serving disabled artists.

di Rosa Preserve, Napa - $10,000
To support the Collection Care Program to preserve and document works in the collection of over 2,000 modern art works, in conjunction with Sonoma State University’s Gallery and Museum Methods courses.

East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Richmond - $10,000
To support financial planning infrastructure in preparation for a capital facility renovation project.

Folger Estate Stable, Woodside - $30,000 ($15,000 2006, $15,000 2007)

To support a capital campaign to restore the historic stable designed by Arthur Brown, Jr., who was also the architect of San Francisco’s Opera House and City Hall.

Magic Theatre, San Francisco - $20,000
To support the West Coast premiere of Paula Vogel’s The Long Christmas Ride Home, directed by Basil Twist, with choreography by Joe Goode.

Other Minds, San Francisco - $10,000
To support The New Music Restoration Project, a multi-year effort to digitally preserve a large archive of new American music.

San Francisco Community Music Center - $20,000
To support upgrades to the historic 130-seat recital hall.

San Francisco Conservatory of Music - $22,500
To support the creation and premiere of a new work by Aaron Jay Kernis to commemorate the new facility’s opening in the Civic Center neighborhood.

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco - $15,000
To support the SECA Artist Award Exhibition in 2007, the 40th anniversary of the program.

Smuin Ballet, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the second year of The Protégé Program to develop emerging choreographers within the company.

TheatreWorks, Palo Alto - $10,000
To support the Sixth Annual New Works Festival featuring development and staged readings of new musical theatre pieces.

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the series Worlds Apart: Local Response, featuring performances by three local performing groups.
