American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco - $20,000
To support development of a new movement-based theatrical production, Tosca, about changing political and social times as reflected in this local nightspot’s clientele.

California Cultural Data Project - $10,000
[Pew Charitable Trusts, Philadelphia]

To support the first phase of a new data reporting project for California arts organizations and grantmaking foundations.

California Shakespeare Theater, Berkeley - $10,000
To support the development of a new work with playwright Octavio Solis and Word for Word Performing Arts Company, the third work in the New Works/New Communities program.

California Symphony, Walnut Creek - $8,000
To support a new commissioned work by Mason Bates as part of the Young American Composer in Residence program.

CELL Space, San Francisco - $5,000
To support a facility renovation project to create more art studios.

CHIME Project, San Francisco - $5,000
[Margaret Jenkins Dance Company]

To support a mentoring program pairing younger choreographers with more those more experienced in creating works for the stage.

To support The Baroque Project, a collaboration with Philharmonia Baroque orchestra for the 25th anniversary season.

Magic Theatre, San Francisco - $20,000
To support the purchase and installation of new risers in the Northside Theatre.

Museum of the African Diaspora, San Francisco - $10,000
To support development of an exhibition featuring African American sculpture over three generations by 16 artists.

New Conservatory Theatre Center, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the purchase of more sophisticated arts software for marketing and development.

Other Minds, San Francisco - $10,000
To purchase equipment to aid the New Music Preservation Project.

San Francisco Community Music Center - $10,000
To complete renovations to the Concert Hall.

Saving the Bay – Ron Blatman - $25,000
[Northern California Public Broadcasting/KQED-TV]

For post production costs of a 4-part video documentary about the history and current ecology of San Francisco Bay.

To support the development and production of a new work by Amy Seiwert.

To support facility improvements and equipment upgrades.

Theatre Bay Area, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the New Works Fund, which helps regional theatre companies premiere work by local playwrights.

To support interior renovation of the Empress Theatre.
