American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco - $10,000
To support a construction feasibility study for a new mixed-use project in the Mid-Market district.

Art Works Downtown, San Rafael - $10,000
To support building upgrades for this downtown art center containing galleries, studios, and a restaurant.

Aurora Theatre Company, Berkeley - $10,000
To support the company’s first commissioned world premiere, Salomania, by local playwright Mark Jackson.

Grantmakers in the Arts, Seattle - $5,000
To support the annual conference being held in San Francisco in October 2011.

Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito - $ 10,000
To support a new Alumni Fund so past artists-in-residence can come back to create new work at the Center.

Intersection for the Arts, San Francisco - $10,000
To support expansion of the artists’ residency and incubation programs at The Hub.

Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, San Francisco - $10,000
General support to the organization as it stabilizes with new artistic and executive leadership.

Margaret Jenkins Dance Company, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the CHIME project which pairs emerging and experienced choreographers in an artistic mentoring relationship. 

Presidio Performing Arts, San Francisco - $10,000
To support the installation of a custom dance floor in a newly-acquired studio space.

San Francisco Arts Education Project - $5,000
To support a production of Guys & Dolls featuring young adult artists and program alumni. 

San Francisco Opera - $10,000
To support the Bay Area premiere of John Adams’ Nixon in China, which the Foundation helped with development funding in 1987.

Theatre Bay Area, San Francisco - $10,000
To support a feasibility study for a multi-venue Theatre District in the Mid-Market area.

Z Space, San Francisco - $12,000
To support a lighting equipment upgrade in the Project Artaud main theater.
