2026 Eureka Fellow

For two decades, I lived and worked in industrial neighborhoods, drawing inspiration from the machinists, foundry workers, and welders who were my neighbors and whose relentless dedication to their jobs continues to inform my work.
My art has been exhibited at Stephan Wirtz Gallery in San Francisco, Track 16 Gallery in Los Angeles, Walsh Gallery in New Jersey, and di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in California. A photograph of my piece, Bad Boys, was featured in a two-page spread in a Crime and Punishment issue of The New Yorker magazine.
I am currently working with organza fabric, found work gloves, cast bronze, and buttons, using these humble materials to reimagine the beauty of everyday tools. By transforming them into something new and unexpected, I hope to uncover and honor the human dignity these simple objects represent.
