Rahsaan Thomas is a writer, podcaster, and filmmaker who uses multimedia to achieve social justice. He co-hosted and produced the Pulitzer Prize finalist podcast Ear Hustle, directed the Superfest Disability Advocacy Award-winning short film Friendly Signs, and produced the San Francisco International Award-winning Best Mid-Length Feature What These Walls Won’t Hold.
He is currently a consulting producer on Crime and Punishment, directed by Lynn Novick; Frames of Freedom, directed by D’Angelo “D’Lo” Louis; and The Inside Out, directed by Megan Shutzer. He directed the short films Painting Ourselves into Society and I DO. Additionally, Rahsaan co-founded the San Quentin Film Festival and Empowerment Avenue.
